Continuing Education Opportunities

Mobile County EMS is pleased to provide these continuing education opportunities that are taught by experienced educators with years of Emergency Medical Care experience.  BCLS/HCP, ACLS, and PALS are presented following the American Heart Association standards and are complete with the latest updates and roll outs. We also offer International Trauma Life Support, DOT approved 24 hours Basic Refreshers and 48 hour Paramedic Refreshers that meet and exceed State and National requirements. To register for any of the scheduled courses please contact the office at 251-343-7131. Registration is required 10 days in advance of classes. CPR Classes

This class covers the Health Care Provider level of CPR and teaches with hands on experience the skills of Adult, Child and Infant CPR. The course also covers Foreign Body airway obstruction and use of an automated external defibrillator or AED.

ACLS and PALS Classes

ACLS and PALS classes will be taught with the latest updates provided by the American Heart Association and will involve both class room lecture and hands on training.

International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)

ITLS classes will be taught following the curriculum of International Trauma Life Support  and will provide the latest updates.

To withdraw from any class you must provide 48 hours notice or fees may not be refundable

All classes are provided free to MCEMSS personal. The fees listed below do not include required text books. Please check at time of registration for book prices.
